Goldman Sachs Avoids Debtor’s Suit Over Missed Apple Pay Bills

Goldman Sachs Bank USA isn’t liable for telling consumer reporting agencies that a debtor didn’t make his Apple Pay payments, a federal court in New York said.

Samuel Weber brought a class action lawsuit against Goldman Sachs under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. He claimed that he didn’t pay three Apple Pay bills because they ended up in his spam folder on his computer and he didn’t know about them.
