Schiff Glucosamine Buyers Urge Final Nod for $53 Million Deal

A $53 million class settlement in a Reckitt Benckiser LLC joint-health supplement suit, the largest deal in a diet supplement false advertising action, offers excellent benefits for class members and warrants final approval, the consumers told a California federal court.

Gordon Noboru Yamagata and others alleged Reckitt Benckiser falsely touted its Schiff Move Free Advanced glucosamine supplements by claiming they offer benefits that they don’t provide.

The nationwide settlement, tentatively approved in June, covers persons who bought the products after May 28, 2015.
