The Chilean government reached a deal with opposition lawmakers over its flagship tax legislation, which would reintegrate corporate and personal income taxes and introduce a tax on digital platforms.
Finance Minister Felipe Larrain told journalists in Santiago on June 24 the plan is to have the measure approved at the lower house and sent to the Senate within 30 days. The bill promotes investment, growth and jobs, he said.
