France Must Help Gas Suppliers Hurt by Tariff Freeze: Regulator

The French government should introduce temporary tax relief on natural gas from Jan. 1 and be prepared to offer extra aid for suppliers under severe financial pressure due to a freeze in regulated prices for the fuel, the country’s energy regulator said Monday in a statement.
