The Greek Independent Authority for Public Revenue Sept. 25 issued Circular No. E. 2152, explaining reduced and standard VAT rates for masks. The circular explained: 1) the 6 percent reduced VAT rate on masks used for protection and to prevent the transmission of diseases; and 2) the 24 percent standard VAT rate on masks used for general purposes.
