The Guernsey Government April 13 issued Bulletin No. 2022/3, announcing the June 30 deadline for financial institutions to submit the U.S. Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA) and common reporting standards (CRS) 2021 reports through the information gateway online reporter (IGOR) system. The bulletin recommended financial institutions receive approval and the specific identification number from the U.S. Internal Revenue Service for FATCA reporting before the deadline.
