IRS Will Consider Late Comments on New Partnership Forms

The IRS will still consider comments on new partnership reporting forms that are submitted after the Sept. 14 deadline, but it might not be able to incorporate the comments into the final draft of the forms, an official said.

A not-so-well-kept “dirty little secret about government” is that it will consider comments no matter when they come in, said John Hinding, director of cross-border activities at the IRS’s Large Business and International division.
