OECD Eyes October for Plan to Implement Global Digital Tax Deal

An OECD global tax agreement in October will likely include a mechanism for rolling back unilateral digital taxes and a plan to implement the deal, the group’s tax head said Friday.

There’s a high likelihood that the Group of 20 finance ministers will reach “significant agreement” on the OECD’s two-pillar plan at a meeting in early July, said Pascal Saint-Amans, director of the OECD’s Center for Tax Policy and Administration.
