An advocacy group representing dual citizens snared by American tax laws because they were born in the US or to American parents vowed to appeal Thursday after a US court dismissed their lawsuit.
The suit, filed Nov. 8, 2021 by the Association of Accidental Americans and individual plaintiffs, challenged the US Department of State’s suspension and delay of services for US citizens seeking to renounce their citizenship because of the pandemic.
