U.K. Announces Six-Month Deferral to Tax Reporting Deadline

Companies and tax advisers in the U.K. will have an additional six months to prepare reports on cross-border tax arrangements.

The EU directive known as DAC6 was originally scheduled to take effect July 1, but the European Council announced Wednesday it had adopted an amendment to allow states to push back the deadlines up to six months because of the pandemic.
