United Nations Appoints New Panelists to Shape Tax Approach

The United Nations tax committee has a new leadership team of 25 experts from countries including Argentina, India, Nigeria, Canada, and Germany, the U.N. announced.

The group—known as the U.N. Committee of Experts on International Cooperation in Tax Matters—works on tax policy issues with a focus on developing countries. Its work includes transfer pricing guidance and a model tax treaty designed for developing countries’ needs.
