California Cities With Online Hubs Fared Best on Tax in Pandemic

Local sales tax revenues during the pandemic jumped the most in California cities with large online-business distribution facilities and dropped the most in cities that rely on fuel sales, the Legislature’s fiscal and policy analyst said Wednesday.
