California Man Sentenced for Dodging Taxes on Tobacco Business

A California man has paid $460,000 in restitution and will serve 120 days in prison for distributing tobacco products without a license and failing to pay tax.

Hazem Saba was sentenced Thursday to five years of felony probation, which includes the prison time, after pleading guilty in March to operating without a license in violation of the California Revenue and Taxation Code, California Attorney General Xavier Becerra (D) said.
