Governor Pushes New Mexico Lawmakers to Legalize Cannabis

New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham proposed legalization of recreational marijuana during her State of the State speech on Tuesday.

  • The Democratic governor has for months called on lawmakers to legalize cannabis in the 2020 session after previous efforts fizzled.
