Louisiana tax deadlines were extended for the state’s declared federal disaster area for Hurricane Laura, the state revenue department said Sept. 8.
Withholding return and payment deadlines originally falling from Aug. 24 to Nov. 2 were extended to Nov. 30 for the affected area, the department said in a notice.
The affected areas are Acadia, Allen, Beauregard, Calcasieu, Cameron, Grant, Jackson, Jefferson Davis, Lincoln, Natchitoches, Ouachita, Rapides, Sabine, Vermillion, Vernon and Winn parishes, the department said.
The list of affected parishes was expanded Sept. 14 to include Caddo, La Salle, Morehouse, St. Landry, and Union parishes, the department said. ...
