Electric and hybrid car owners in Mississippi could get a break on their registration fees in 2019.

Sen. Billy Hudson (R) introduced a billon the legislature’s opening day on Jan. 8 that would repeal a tax that recently hit the Magnolia State’s nearly 15,000 hybrid and electric vehicle owners.
