New York Seeks Monthly Data Dump in Fight Over Donor Rules

New York asked a federal judge to direct Treasury and the IRS to start producing at least 150 documents per month in a battle tied to the government’s attempt to remove donor-disclosure requirements for certain nonprofits.

New Jersey is continuing to review 877 pages of documents that the government released Monday. New York’s proposal, according to a document filed Monday, is subject to future changes from New Jersey.
