Arizona would cap how much revenue the state can take from sports betting operators and create a new fund to modernize the state’s tax system, under budget bills lawmakers passed Thursday.
Gov. Doug Ducey (R) is expected to sign both bills, which came as part of a bipartisan agreement. The sports betting bill (H.B. 2855) would cap the fees on fantasy sports contest operators at 10% of their adjusted revenues.
