An Ohio man must pay over $3,800 in outstanding municipal taxes plus penalties and interest to a Cleveland suburb, an appellate court ruled Thursday.
Michael Davie argued the city of Shaker Heights hadn’t exhausted its administrative resources and that a three-year statute of limitations disallowed the city’s lawsuit demanding taxes. Davie had appealed a lower court’s decision to grant summary judgment to the city after previously filing for his own summary judgment.
