Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey is proposing expanded incentives to lure businesses and a new tax credit to help low-income families in a spending plan released Friday.
The Republican governor’s executive budget proposal includes:
- setting aside $58 million investment earmarked to attract businesses and boost the state’s business tax climate ranking by the Tax Foundation, and
- creating a 5% state earned income tax credit for low-income families that would cost the state $74 million.
