California businesses have 60 more days to make state tax filings if new rules to avoid public gatherings prevent them from doing so, Gov. Gavin Newsom said Thursday.
Newsom (D) announced an executive order limiting nonessential gatherings to no more than 250 people and asking people to observe “social distancing” of at least six feet. The order is a response to the spread of the novel coronavirus, which causes the respiratory disease Covid-19.
