The Biden administration will release a funding opportunity for its much-anticipated $8 billion regional hydrogen hub program “in a few weeks,” targeting a variety of production methods and possible customers to scale up clean energy jobs, Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm said Friday.
“It’s super important for people to provide us with a vision” that details hydrogen production, infrastructure build-out, customer base, and include education and workforce training that supports a broader “economic cluster,” Granholm said after touring a hydrogen research facility in Delaware.
