Five former U.S. Treasury secretaries endorsed President Joe Biden’s plan to beef up Internal Revenue Service funding and data to better collect trillions of dollars in tax revenue.

Timothy Geithner, Jacob Lew, Robert Rubin and Lawrence Summers -- who served in Democratic administrations -- and Henry Paulson, a secretary under Republican President George W.
