Former N.Y. Club Owner Denied Federal Court Access in Tax Suit

A New York federal court refused to set aside its earlier decision dismissing a former Manhattan adult club owner’s multimillion-dollar lawsuit over New York taxes because the owner can still go to state courts.

The Tuesday ruling from the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York denied MLB Enterprises Corp.'s motion for relief from the court’s 2020 dismissal after a separate lawsuit the company filed in state court was dismissed.
