Industries Hit by Coronavirus Vie With Each Other for U.S. Aid

America’s biggest trade groups are clamoring for $2 trillion in relief measures from Washington to address the economic fallout of the coronavirus -- but their demands exceed by far an already hefty stimulus measure proposed by Republican senators on Thursday night.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell released a plan to prop up consumers, businesses and local governments ravaged by the coronavirus.
