Malaysia’s Sarawak State Drops 1.3B Rgt Tax Suit vs Petronas

Malaysia’s Sarawak state withdrew its civil suit against Petroliam Nasional Bhd seeking almost 1.3b rgt ($310 million) in state sales tax owed from Jan.-June 2019, according to a statement from Sharifah Hasidah Sayeed Aman Gazali, Assistant Minister in the Chief Minister’s Department.
