European Union finance ministers will head into a meeting Tuesday amid uncertainty about whether Hungary will lift its veto on adoption by the bloc of a global 15% minimum tax.
Ministers are set to discuss an EU directive, or framework law, implementing the minimum tax. The topic could be pulled from the agenda if it becomes clear Hungary won’t change its position, an EU official said.
