PwC Australia Announces Appointment of Carmel Mulhern to Board

Carmel Mulhern has joined the governance board of PwC Australia as its third independent non-executive member, the company announced Monday.

Mulhern has served as a global executive and senior adviser to boards and CEOs in the financial services, telecommunications, media and technology sectors, PwC said.

Her non-executive director experience and advisory board positions have been in the areas of superannuation, medical research, education as well as artificial intelligence and digital ethics, the company said.

She will assume the role on Sept. 1.
