Roger Stone Tax Legal Troubles Paused in Wake of Wife’s Cancer

A court paused a lawsuit against Roger Stone and his wife, Nydia Stone, seeking to recoup an alleged tax debt of nearly $2 million.

The U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida granted a 90-day stay in the case in an order signed on Wednesday and entered on Thursday. The order comes after the Stones requested the temporary halt, citing Nydia Stone’s recent cancer diagnosis. The government didn’t oppose the request.
