A bipartisan group of senators will examine the utility of temporary tax breaks and examine ways to bring certainty on the issue, Senate Finance Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) and ranking member Ron Wyden (D-Ore.) announced May 16.
The senators will work in smaller task forces to examine workforce, health, and energy tax policy, among other areas, according to the release.
