Swiss to Formulate Response to Global Tax Reform Next Year

Switzerland has begun looking into the effects of the global bid to reform corporate taxation and could decide on a reform program early next year.

“It is important for Switzerland to set the course now in order to be a competitive location with sustainable growth, innovation, attractive jobs and a high level of prosperity also in the light of the OECD/G20 work on international corporate taxation,” the government said in a statement on Friday.

Depending on how international talks progress, the government will decide on the reform package in the first quarter of 2022, it said.
