The U.S. Tax Court’s much-awaited tech upgrades are exciting tax litigators who say they won’t mind the upcoming pause in some court activities if it brings an easier and more transparent filing process.
The court will transition to a new case management system from Nov. 20 through Dec. 28. The new system will allow for e-filing of petitions and provide case management tools that are easier to use and mobile-friendly. The changes are expected to help attorneys who have long dealt with technology obstacles at the court.
