His brother Marc Sorrentino will serve two years for helping to prepare tax returns. He’s also on the hook for $337,693 in restitution for preparing false tax returns for his brother.

The restitution amount covers the tax loss accrued for 2011, 2012, and 2013, Judge Susan D. Wigenton of the U.S. District Court of New Jersey ruled.

Krovatin Klingeman LLC in Newark, N.J., represented Mike. Michael D’Alessio Jr. represented Marc. The Department of Justice represented the government.

The case is U.S. v. Sorrentino, D.N.J., No. 14-558, 1/15/19.
