Treasury, IRS to Update Court This Summer in Donor Rules Fight

The U.S. Department of Treasury and the IRS in August will need to provide an update on their progress in turning over documents related to the government’s removal of donor-disclosure rules for nonprofits.

U.S. District Judge Jesse Furman on Tuesday set the deadline in an order backing an agreement between New Jersey, New York, and the U.S. government in the case.
