Siemens Energy Weighs Hydrogen, Wind Push on US Green Aid (1)

Siemens Energy AG is stepping up plans for hydrogen electrolyzer and wind turbine plants in the US, joining the ranks of companies keen to tap the country’s game-changing subsidies.

The German manufacturer may set up a US assembly site for electrolyzer systems, subject to getting more large-scale orders, according to Chief Executive Officer Christian Bruch. The firm, which is experiencing a surge in demand for green transition technologies, has already reactivated two onshore wind turbine factories and is in the process of setting up more for offshore components.
