Federal Agencies Get $250 Million to Advance Net-Zero Projects

The Department of Energy has announced $250 million in funding to help federal agencies implement net-zero building projects, according to DOE Thursday.

The funding program, Assisting Federal Facilities with Energy Conservation Technologies, comes from the Biden-Harris Administration Investing in America agenda, said the agency.

AFFECT is open to applications for energy and water efficiency upgrades to new and existing federal buildings, DOE said.
