Consorzio Stabile GMG S.C.ar.l. won its appeal challenging the US Navy’s default termination of a task order to build a vestibule and to repair or replace doors at a base in Bahrain, a contract appeals board said in a decision released Thursday.
The Navy expressed concern that the task order, awarded in July 2018, wouldn’t be completed by the September 2019 deadline. Consorzio continued to work until the Navy terminated the contract for default in September 2020 for failure timely perform.
