The four largest U.S. accounting firms all have suspended political contributions to at least some federal officer holders, and are calling for unity as a new administration is set to take office next week.
The statements come several days after a violent mob stormed the U.S. Capitol. The Big Four join companies such as Microsoft Corp., Coca-Cola Co., and JPMorgan Chase & Co. in pausing political donations in the wake of the attack, which interrupted efforts to certify the presidential election.
