EY Commits to Report Sustainability Metrics Backed by Big Four

Ernst & Young plans to include in its annual report 21 sustainability metrics that it and its fellow Big Four competitors have recommended to rally global businesses around a set of common benchmarks.

Carmine Di Sibio, EY’s global chairman and chief executive officer, said Wednesday that the firm has reported previously on 17 of those 21 environment, social, and governance (ESG) metrics. It will either disclose them all in its annual report next year or explain why it has to omit some.
