From PwC to SEC and Back: Bricker Talks the Future of Auditing

Wes Bricker has a clear mandate from his new boss: Be relevant to the marketplace.

Bricker rejoined PwC LLP in July to head up the firm’s assurance practice after spending the last four years at the Securities and Exchange Commission, most recently as the agency’s top accountant.

Auditors need to understand what the capital markets demand of them today, Bricker told Bloomberg Tax recently at the firm’s Manhattan offices.
