KPMG South Africa Appoints Independent Directors Mkhize and Marx

KPMG South Africa has appointed Imogen Mkhize and Ben Marx to its policy board as independent non-executive directors as it pushes ahead with a turnaround plan, it said in a statement Monday.

The auditing firm is enhancing governance and rebuilding its image after losing one-third of its revenues since 2017, when it came under fire for being associated with a string of scandals. Marx and Mkhize have served on numerous company boards, including large, listed organizations, KPMG said.
