Latham Snatches Up Ropes & Gray’s Dahl for Restructuring Arm

The chair of Ropes & Gray LLP’s business restructuring practice group, Ryan Dahl, has been poached by Latham & Watkins LLP, along with two other partners.

Dahl, who joined Ropes & Gray in late 2020 as a partner in the firm’s Chicago and New York offices, previously worked at Weil Gotshal & Manges LLP and Kirkland & Ellis LLP.

Along with Dahl, Latham is also hiring Ropes restructuring partners Natasha S. Hwangpo and Benjamin M. Rhode, according to a release Friday.
