PwC Delays U.K. Results to Assess Covid Impact

PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP has delayed publication of its 2020 U.K. results to have more time to assess the impact of the coronavirus pandemic.

PwC said in an emailed statement Thursday that it would not publish its U.K. results for the fiscal year ending June 30 until January 2021, rather than in September as it has done for previous reporting periods. The firm said in April that it would cut partner pay by up to 20% to protect other jobs during the pandemic, and that it would delay decisions over pay until the situation became clearer this fall.
