Former SEC Chief Accountant Wesley Bricker has returned to PwC LLP and will lead the firm’s audit practice.
Bricker rejoined the Big Four accounting and professional services firm as of July 1, succeeding Maria Moats as its assurance leader and vice chair for the U.S., the firm announced July 16.
- Bricker stepped down from his leadership post at the Securities and Exchange Commission in June. During his three years as chief accountant, he oversaw the rollout of two historic accounting standards, preparations for a third, and the transition to new leadership at the U.S. audit regulator.
