SEC Will Push for Audit Access in China

U.S. regulators aren’t giving up on efforts to access the audit information for U.S. traded companies that are handled by Chinese audit firms.

The U.S. audit regulator has agreements with more than 50 countries to inspect the audit work of foreign audit firms. But a similar deal with China has eluded regulators despite years of talks.
