U.S. Audit Board Set to Pick Up Supervision Rule Next Year

The U.S. audit regulator expects to consider updates to its rules for supervision of outside auditors in 2021.

Public Company Accounting Oversight Board staff plan to give a recommendation to the board for action next year, Chief Auditor Megan Zietsman said Monday during a virtual banking conference hosted by the American Institute of CPAs.
