Willkie Adds Kirkland’s Ryan Bennett to Lead Restructuring Team

Ryan Blaine Bennett joined Willkie Farr & Gallagher as chair of the restructuring group in Chicago, the firm announced Monday.

Bennett leads complex restructurings and distressed transactions, representing public and private companies, private equity sponsors, investors, and major creditors across industries including manufacturing, logistics, technology, automotive, hospitality, retail, and financial services. He advises debtors, creditors, investors, and sponsors on complex restructurings, hybrid capital solutions, and distressed acquisitions, the firm said.

He joins from Kirkland & Ellis.
