New York Gov. Kathy Hochul has 30 days to pick a nominee to lead the state’s highest court, after the Senate rejected her original choice last month.
The state Commission on Judicial Nomination sent a new list of seven candidates to Hochul on Friday. It includes three judges that already sit on the Court of Appeals, the state’s top court.
