JetBlue Airways Corp. flight attendants will share a $3.6 million settlement resolving claims that the airline violated California labor law under an agreement approved Friday.
Judge Jeffrey S. White of the US District Court for the Northern District of California approved the settlement after a brief hearing. The suit, filed in 2015, claimed that California-based flight attendants weren’t paid for all hours worked and received inaccurate wage statements.
The flight attendants also made claims under the Private Attorneys General Act, a unique California law that allows individuals to step into the state’s shoes and sue for labor law violations. ...
