Industrial lubrication manufacturing company SKF USA can avoid some of a former employee’s claims in a lawsuit alleging violations of the Americans with Disabilities Act and Tennessee law.
Anthony White sued SKF and its subsidiary, Alemite, alleging that the companies terminated him rather than offering an accommodation or engaging in the interactive process. He also said he was terminated because they “continued to regard him as disabled” when he’d recovered, and he said they violated Tennessee Public Protection Act because the sole cause of his termination was due to his “refusal to participate in or remain silent about illegal activities” ...
